Well it’s been a long journey but everything is finally ready to release and what better day to release all this new stuff than on Christmas morning.
New Site
Right off the bat you see that the site has a new look. There isn’t much explaining to do about the new look other than that the design of the site should better suit what we do and how we deliver our content to you all.
There is now an iPhone/iPod/Android/Storm/Pre mobile version of the site to make things a bit easier when browsing from your phone.

A Re-branding
Event Horizon never had much of a logo, we just had a concept logo that was thrown together and somehow it just became what we based off of when creating graphical elements in the Event Horizon movies. This new logo and you might say the first official logo was created to better explain what this team is about. Event Horizon was chosen for the team name, not as an astronomical term or the movie but to explain that this team is always bringing new things, and going beyond the regular boundaries to show things never done before. When the sun comes up over the horizon it is the shining representation of a new day and new ideas. Our new logo makes a play off of this with light coming over the horizon and the brighter part of the light is coming off of the name “Team Event Horizon”. These are very subtle elements but it should represent the team’s image better.

We’ve also got a new avatar that we will be using for our public profiles and on various graphical pieces that you will see on products we will put out. This image is a play off of our in game tag “-O-” which is supposed to look like the sun coming up on the horizon. We’ve taken some of the official logo and tossed it in the mix with our tag and this is the result.

Getting social:
While I know that people tend to think us gamers are not social creatures it’s just not true. So today we are also launching our new Facebook fan page and Twitter profile. The idea behind the Facebook page is to give fans and community to follow what we do and have some of it delivered right to your social networking experience. The fan page has all of our video releases, a photo gallery, discussion area and it will be used to keep in touch with you all.
Much like Facebook our Twitter profile will let fans and community follow what we do and discuss with us. We aren’t just going to be talking to you all, we will be engaging in conversations and sharing gaming news and anything else we find interesting so follow us up!
We love answering your questions and talking with you all, our Youtube comments are proof of that, and we hope you all will fan us up and follow us and don’t hesitate to drop us a line on Facebook or Twitter.
